[ The Vision ]

'Vibe & Dine' was created from restaurant owner Christina Westbrook reaching out to me looking for something to activate her space regularly. As a regular curator & event promoter, I came up with the concept, title & signature look, and it's been in fruition ever since!

Each Wednesday, I am lucky to feature a local artist, musician, and/or DJ in a range of genres, from soul singers to lyricists & rappers, jazz singers, DJs & more. The goal of this Live Music Series is to showcase amazing, versatile talent while indulging in great food, all in a Black Owned Space.

Through this amazing partnership with Smurfey's Smokehouse, I am able to pay each performing artist every week, along with ensuring each performer receives a free meal from the restaurant the night of their show.

The long-term goal of the series is to expand by booking performers from outside of Memphis to bridge a gap between different cities, cultures & music styles, build partnerships with other business and even look towards supportive sponsorships that will allow for more abundance to flow to this series!
